Circol ELT is Ireland’s approved compliance scheme for end-of-life tyres. It works with tyre producers, retailers, collectors, and recyclers to ensure used tyres are managed properly and in line with environmental regulations.

Its members play a key role in this work. Together, they help ensure that end-of-life tyres are collected, processed, and reused in ways that are practical, environmentally responsible, and beneficial for the economy.

Circol ELT is committed to finding better uses for old tyres and supporting the development of a more circular economy. This means keeping valuable materials in use for as long as possible and reducing waste.

The organisation also supports research and innovation by working with universities, researchers, and businesses to develop new products and applications for tyre-derived materials, creating new opportunities for their use in Ireland and beyond.
